V is a long-time writer, designer and copy editor with a vibrant background in corporate business writing, music journalism and internet media design. Since 1996, her articles and photography have been published in various music magazines, poetry compilations, and business publications. She has managed or implemented major design projects for Ameriprise Corp., CDI Corp. and Crown Records (jp) in partnership with a wide variety of international vendors over the last decade. She has studied English, Writing & Humanities, Business & Marketing, and is currently studying Digital Arts with the Academy of Art University of San Francisco. When she is not working on client projects, she travels, photographs concerts and contributes her expertise to professional blogs and e-zines. With influences as diverse as Fukase and Frank Zappa, new synergies are created from both simple and complex meanings. Ever since I was a student I have been fascinated by the ephemeral nature of the mind. What starts out as vision soon becomes corrupted into a tragedy of power, leaving only a sense of nihilism and the inevitability of a new beginning. As temporal phenomena become transformed through diligent and personal practice, the viewer is left with a statement of the possibilities of our future.”
